Panasonic GZ2000 OLED review: 65-inch Japanese TV
Panasonic has consistently continued its journey of excellence since 2017, when the first OLED EZ1000 was introduced. The Panasonic GZ2000 OLED is currently one of the most unusual TVs available on the market. It differs from its competitors in its audio power, unusual design and solid size.
However, before I get into the actual review of the GZ2000 OLED, I’d like to remind you that Panasonic puts a Technics-branded audio system into their TVs. The first device of this type was the EZ1000 in 2017, followed by the FZ950. In 2019, the GZ2000 appeared, which also received the Technics system, but in a slightly modified form. Instead of a built-in classic soundbar at the bottom of the TV, a strip of transducers was used. In addition, the TV received two speakers located at the top of the rear panel.
This is the same design as the HZ2000 recently unveiled at CES 2020 in Las Vegas. The latest model will probably only arrive in stores in the third quarter of this year.
