Review of MEE Audio Pinnacle dynamic in-ear headphones P1

I associated MEelectronics with very good, but not outstanding headphones in the price range of about $50. The company changed its name to MEE Audio, which is still more associated with the core product line and released the flagship MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 headphones for a more serious amount of $200. The name Pinnacle (top) emphasizes the position in the line (although there are also personal associations with the Pinnacle Studio video editing package).

What is this?

MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 are the flagship dynamic in-ear headphones with replaceable cable, 10mm dynamic drivers and metal housings.

Why are they interesting?

According to the official website, it uses its own 10 mm dynamic drivers with 50 ohm impedance to improve the sound at the extreme points of the range. A copper-clad aluminum coil is used to reduce the weight of the moving part, allowing for greater speed and control at high frequencies, plus an acoustic cone with proprietary damping circuitry. The headphone housings are made of zinc alloy, die-cast and hand-polished. Sounds very interesting on paper, let’s see what we have in practice.

What’s in the box?

MEE Audio has chosen to approach the creation of its flagship headphones very thoroughly and paid attention to everything from acoustic properties to appearance and even packaging. Packaging and kit are usually nothing special, but this is not the case. Headphones are supplied in a large (as for the in-ear model) box. On the outer white cover, the headphones themselves are depicted and all sorts of fairly familiar information is written. Under the wrapper is a large hard embossed box that opens in this unusual way:

In the upper part, on a soft stand, the headphones themselves are installed without attachments and cables. Below is a carrying case and two separate boxes with accessories. After unpacking all this, you can examine the entire kit: headphones, two interchangeable braided cables (one of which is a headset), case, 6.3 mm adapter, clip for fixing on clothes, instructions and nine pairs of nozzles:
